  1. The like the B&W one. I like the element of the roadside barrier giving the image depth and the photo has great sharpness. The color one seems to be dominated by the yellow sign, and that's not as interesting to me as the great detail and depth I feel in the B&W one....it's sharp in the foreground all the way to the details on the hill, and all the train and plant work together as a more interesting image to me.

    1. I really like your thoughts on the yellow sign. You are completely right. The yellow sign in the color photograph is the focal point for me as well. Excellent thoughts my friend. Thank you for sharing them.

  2. In color the yellow over power the photo. In Black and White I can travel the photo.

  3. Really nice. Agree with both comments ..... B&W gets my vote for same reasons. Are you using polarizing filter to get clouds to "pop"?

    1. No filters were used. I processed the raw file in Lightroom 4 using VSCO film presets. Thanks for the kind comment Russ.

    2. I need to clarify. I use the film presets for color. I have created my own presets in LR for black and white. Shoot me a private message and I tell you all that I adjust.
